CME on recent advances in Physiology
|
LIMSAR an affiliated College of Mahatma University was started in 2007. This is the only college in Kerala where MSc Medical Physiology and BSc Optometry courses are available.
Little Flower Medical Research Centre (LFMRC)
Mahatma Gandhi University has recognized this department as a centre for Ph.D programme. The centre has undertaken a number of research projects in neurophysiology of vision, nutrition and cardiovascular physiology. Regular CMEs and symposiums are being held here. This is probably is the first and only research centre in Physiology in India in the mission hospital sector.

M.Sc. Medical Physiology (3 Years)
B.Sc. degree in Physiology, Zoology, Nursing, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biophysics, BPT, MLT with a minimum of 60% marks and BHMS,BAMS graduates need only 55% marks in the qualifying examination.
MHA (2 Years)
Any Degree from a recognized University with 50% marks or Post Graduation.
Ph. D. PHYSIOLOGY (3 YEARS) MGU
M.Sc. Physiology, Zoology or any PG Degree in an allied medical sciences, with 55% marks.
Ph. D. PHYSIOLOGY (2 YEARS) IGNOU
BACHELOR OF PHYSIOTHERAPY (BPT) (4 ½ YEARS)
Plus two or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry & Biology with 50% marks.

Application for admission to the above mention courses should reach the Principal on time. In case an application is considered, written test/group discussion will be send to the applicant assigning a date for the same.
HOW TO APPLY
Application for admission should be submitted in the prescribed form which can be obtained from the college office on payment of Rs. 200/ by hand or DD of Rs. 250/- in favour of LIMSAR payable at ANGAMALY by post.
