Started in 1970 as a charitable organization, the eye bank at Little Flower Hospital is one of the five major eye banks in India. It collects around 900 eyes every year and contributes donor tissues to eye hospitals all over the country.

The eye bank is equipped with a specular microscope endothelial cell counter and laminar flow hood. It works round the clock. There are 12 sub centres (for collecting eyes) and 151 eye donation forums (for propaganda) under this eye bank. The eye bank conducts eye donation awareness programmes throughout the year.
